This site offers rug hooking designs from 10 Nova Scotia rug hookers, all of whom are members of the Rug Hooking Guild of Nova Scotia. Some of these designs have been featured in Rug Hooking Magazine. Rug hooking has a long history in Atlantic Canada and that, combined with the creativity which abounds here, has produced a cornucopia of wonderful designs.  The borders of this wonderful art form are constantly being expanded by local artists, some of whom are represented on this site. All rug hookers, from beginner to advanced can find a pattern just right for you at The Rug Hookers Cupboard.
